Market updates

  1. Tesla starts high-volume Semi production in Nevada

    Trade press reports a dedicated Semi factory next to Gigafactory Nevada, designed for up to 50,000 trucks a year. Tesla hasn't published a current production rate.

  2. ZET SCALE orders 2,500 electric Class 8 trucks

    The alliance run by Catalyst Mobility and Smart Freight Centre picked Tesla as primary maker, with Kenworth, RIDE and Volvo as secondary makers. First freight hubs include Houston, Dallas and San Antonio.

  3. Federal charger credit (30C) ends

    Chargers placed in service after June 30, 2026 no longer qualify. The federal credit for new electric trucks (45W) had already ended for trucks acquired after September 30, 2025.
